Looking into a new GT

Well... I did manage to start sketching that new piece I was talking about earlier today, its now sitting on my computer waiting to be painted lol!
I wont upload any sketches for this one as i want it to be a surprise ;) :D hehe!

Anyways, my GT is in dear peril! The poor pen has nearly cracked due to working too hard xD The bad thing is... the version of my Wacom Tablet (Volito 2) is no longer available, so there is no chance of buying a new pen for it. Since it was only cheap and probably with very little specs, I was considering maybe buying one a little more expensive this time, I think i have £50 saved somewhere? Im just not sure which one to get! (there are so many!) Is there really much difference with how they work? So will it be worth it? Im just very confused right now.
This one is the Wacom Bamboo One, to be honest the specs on this one look like they are exactly the same as my previous one?

You see... the Bamboo Fun's Specs look pretty much the same apart from having the zoom tool, and its about £30 more...

The Wacom Intuos3 A5 Tablet has almost double the specs as my original one... but its £199.99 on Amazon at the moment... Thats way more than I have saved haha! The question is.. is it worth it? Should I save up and get this one instead? I would really like your opinions please?

Thank you!! :D

I've got a wacom bamboo and I've never had a problem with it. I love it, I use it instead of a mouse now - to be honest, after looking at several tablets myself, the bamboo was the best option I could come up with.

One of the reasons is that with some other Wacom Tablets you get adobe photoshop elements with it, which I didn't think was worth the extra money. It may be worth it if you want elements, but to be honest I hate elements - it's slower, and doesn't have the capabilities of other photoshop versions (I use CS2).

Also for drawing and painting, Corel Painter X (Or I hear XI is out or is coming out soon?) is an amazing program.

The bamboo has programmable buttons, like the others, and mine has a wheel for scrolling down the page (it's like a flat circle that you rub clockwise to move down the page and likewise in reverse).

Anyways, that's just my piece on the Wacom Bamboo. Hope that helps in some way. =)
